Course

This particular project aims to bring plant genetics and techniques closer together in order to work with them. The DNA of horticultural species will be studied in depth, using molecular biology, genomics and bioinformatics techniques, as well as cutting-edge genome editing technologies, such as the innovative CRISPR-Cas. Different phenotypic genes will be identified to discover their genetic viability and to be able to produce vegetables with the desired phenotypic qualities, thus being able to meet current food challenges and propose solutions to agricultural challenges.
