  3. Research opportunities at university

After having developed your first research project (the TR) and having a first experience in a real scientific environment through the science programs of the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, you may be interested in continuing your research at university.

Finding research opportunities on your own can be a daunting and daunting task. Without realizing it, you've spent a lot of time collecting internet links on interesting opportunities, without really knowing how to prioritize the most relevant of the less relevant ones. Has it happened to you too?

From the Fellows Commission we have prepared a training session aimed at Fellows who are finishing high school or pursuing university studies and who have the will to continue doing research during the degree. The aim is to bring you closer to experiences and provide you with resources through which to look for opportunities more efficiently.

The session (in Catalan) will take place at Zoom on Monday 19 April from 5.30pm to 7pm and will be attended by:
• Silvia Casacuberta: Fellow and undergraduate student in math and computer science at Harvard, USA.
• Roger Castells: Fellows and postdoctoral researcher in synthetic and computational biology at UCLA, USA.
• Miriam Navarro: PhD in Neurosciences and coordinator of academic management at the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST).
• Carla Conejo: Fellow, human biologist and head of scientific programs at the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera.
