Ferran Climent

Degree in Geology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He taught at the UAB Department of Geology (Stratigraphy Unit). For 15 years he has been actively involved in various Geopark projects, and is currently a member of the UNESCO body of evaluators. Since 2012 he has been the scientific director of the UNESCO World Geopark of Central Catalonia. In the last twenty years he has carried out multiple research projects related to sedimentology and natural resources.
