Iris Monfort Bague

Iris graduated from the University of Lleida as a Forestry Engineer in 2014. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in conjunction with the Forest Technology Centre of Catalonia, studying forest regeneration after abiotic disturbances (fire, storms, drought, etc.). As part of her thesis she spent a stint at the University of Freiburg (Germany) studying fir and spruce regeneration 25 years after a storm. She is currently studying on the Erasmus Mundus European Forestry Master's, which includes the University of Lleida and 5 other consortial universities, and is coordinated by the University of Eastern Finland (Finland).
