
Lluís Coll Mir
Lluís graduated as a forestry engineer from the University of Lleida (1999) and holds a PhD in forest ecology from Blaise Pascal University (Clermont-Ferrand, 2003). After a PhD stint at the University of Québec in Montréal (2004 and 2005), he joined the Forest Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC) through a ‘Juan de la Cierva’ research contract (2006-2008). He later worked on a Ramon y Cajal contract at the same institution (2009-2014). He joined the University of Lleida as a visiting professor in 2016, but continues to be linked to the CTFC as an associate researcher. He is also an associate researcher at CREAF (since 2011) and at the Centre d'Étude de la Forêt del Québec (since 2015). Over the last 10 years he has taken part in research projects for major national and international initiatives, working as principal investigator for some of these studies.
