Teresa Valor

Forest Engineer (2008) from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, she completed a Research Master in Terrestrial Ecology in 2011. In 2018 she obtained a PhD in Terrestrial Ecology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. During her thesis, developed at the Center Tecnològic Forestal de Catalunya (CTFC), she spent time at the Institut Méditerranéen de Biodiversité et d'Ecologie (marine and continental) (IMBE - CNRS) (France) and at the Università degli studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli (Italy). During this period she gained experience in dendrochronology techniques, stable isotopes and gas chromatography. She is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Lleida with a Juan de la Cierva-Formation contract. His research aims to contribute to the understanding of the mechanisms based on forest management that determine the composition, structure and dynamics of the forest.
